2020 impacted brands around the globe. While many brands and industries suffered significantly, with some not surviving, others experienced record-breaking growth. This year, 43% of the top 100 global brands grew while 57% declined in value (vs 29% declining in 2019).

Brands who were in the technology sector or were able to quickly adopt technology to deliver their product or service, were better positioned to endure the challenges of 2020. But besides the adoption of technology, what were other factors that lead some brands to succeed and others to struggle? What are some consumer trends we need to pay attention to and be part of? And what are some opportunities worth exploring?
