93 | Inside the fastest growing social media teams – with Miruna Dragomir
Why you’ve got to listen to this episode:
In 2020 many brands pulled back their advertising and marketing. In part because when the pandemic hit, brands were looking for ways to scale back on expenses but also because it didn’t feel right to advertise. To make up for this and to ensure they could continue to connect and be helpful to their audiences, many brands significantly increased their social media efforts.
In today’s episode, I’m talking with Miruna Dragomir. Miruna is the head of Marketing for Planable, a content collaboration platform for social media teams. Planable works with a multitude of brands and social media teams, and they recently released the research findings of the top 100 companies that grew their social media teams in 2020.
Miruna takes us behind the scenes to show us how some of these teams are structured, how they organize their work and the most effective strategies they use.
Key areas discussed in this episode:
- The best workflow for social media teams
- How brands ensure consistency while tailoring their message for different audiences and locations
- The biggest time wasters for social media teams
- The most effective strategies to implement
